To feel safer on the water

The Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons is a Canada wide organization offering boating safety courses, including power and sail navigation courses as well as Canadian Coast Guard accredited boating courses, leading to the Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC), popularly known as the Boat Licence. CPS also offers VHF Radio courses leading to the Restricted Operator Certificate, ROC(M), which includes the new Digital Selective Calling endorsement ( DSC and GMDSS )

Since 1938, the volunteer trainers of Canada's largest association of boating enthusiasts have offered safe boating courses at convenient locations in cities and towns across Canada.

Don't forget, as of September 15, 2009, all Canadian operators of a motorized pleasure craft have to show proof of competency. Register today for one of our BoatPro seminars, or for the more extensive Boating course and earn your PCOC card before the start of the 2012 boating season.
