The Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons is a
Since 1938, the volunteer trainers of Canada's largest association of boating
enthusiasts have offered safe boating courses at convenient locations in cities
and towns across Canada.
Don't forget, as of September 15, 2009, all Canadian operators of a motorized pleasure craft have to show proof of competency. Register today for one of our BoatPro seminars, or for the more extensive Boating course and earn your PCOC card before the start of the 2010 boating season.
NOTE:- Online registration is now open for Seamanship - Winter 2012 and VHF Winter 2012
- Seamanship registration at LCC is 7th December 2011 - from 19:00-20:00 - (7 to 8 pm)
- course to start 4 Jan 2012 for 12 to 14 weeks - on wed. 7 to 9 pm at LCC
- VHF classes - 04 Apr, 11 Apr and 18 Apr at Westmount Library - limit 8 students max.
- VHF classes will be from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Westmount Library

FALL 2011 and WINTER 2012 Courses
Registration for FALL and WINTER sessions will be held at LCC on
Wednesday, 2nd November from 19:00 to 20:00 for VHF Marine. Classes will be held on the 16, 23 and 30 November at Westmount Library, (Limit 8 students). Seamanship (replaces old Piloting) Registration will be 7th December 2011 at L.C.C. at 19:00 to 20:00. start date of courses to be anounced.
Register online now and be ready for the 2012 boating season.
Classes will be held Wednesday evenings at Lower Canada College, or a nearby location, depending on enrolment.
We are looking into offering a seminar on advanced rope work where you will
learn the art of whipping, splicing and some new knot techniques. If you are
